Future Funk is widely considered to be a sub-genre of the vaporwave aesthetic. This aesthetic has multiple characteristics, but these can be narrowed down to a few main ones:

• Normally this is more "retro" media
• Usage of lower-resolution image quality

Though originally a genre of music, Future Funk has extended into a design aesthetic of its very own, influencing not only musical, but also visual art as well.
